I realize that everyone needs a good photographer for their wedding. I have this special off-season or weekday offer for those interested in my artistic wedding photojournalism but have a wedding outside of a Northern California (I am San Francisco based photographer). No matter where you have your wedding at, I am willing to travel nationwide during off-season period (or if you have a weekday marriage - during the season) to capture your celebration.

I usually don't photograph many weddings from the late November till the end of March, which allows me to become more available for destination weddings.

Photographing weddings nation or worldwide isn't an easy project for any photographer. It requires special preparations, extra time, travel arrangements, additional communication, etc., All that means - during the season, when I most likely to have at least one wedding a weekend - I (in most scenarios) will not be able to take advantage of offers from outside of Northern California customers despite the fact that I love traveling. (Note: Some in-season weekend or weekday destination weddings requests may be accepted. Please inquire.)

However, during off-season, it becomes much easier for me to photograph destination weddings around US, in Mexico or in Canada. So what my special offer is? The answer is: - I will not charge any travel expenses if you will select one of the high end packages. In addition, I will not charge travel expenses if your wedding within 30 days and I have this weekend open. I am considering this as a last minute deal.

Now the big question is: Why would anyone hire a photographer without meeting him in person, looking at his printed portfolio, visiting his studio, but making this decision simply based on his online work?

When I ask my destination customers (usually brides) this question, the answer is always the same: "Joseph, we couldn't find anyone better then you in our area or in our destination area " - I believe that many photographers do a fantastic job, and majority will hire a local or in-house photographer, but my point here is simple: hiring a wedding photographer isn't about how close or convenient his studio to you, but how good photographer is.

Of course many brides take into considerations additional expenses such as air tickets, hotels, car rentals, etc., when they select the photographer. Those fees can and will add hundreds of dollars to photography coverage itself since a photographer has to pay for his travel. I've removed those additional fees to make a decision simpler and more affordable.

Q. Will you be the one who photographs our wedding? Yes. I will personally travel to capture your cerebration.

Q. Are you willing to travel if our wedding isn't during off-season? I will be happy to, if I am not booked on that weekend and do not have personal plans. See full destination wedding photography packages.

Q. Would you apply the same offer for a weekday wedding during a season? Yes. As long as I am available.

Q. What are average travel fees for seasonal (April - November) weddings? I ask my customers to reimburse my travel expenses such as air tickets, lodging and ground transportation. Depends on the destination it ranges between $500 - $1500.

Q. Will you be traveling by yourself or with assistants? I will work alone. With over 300 weddings I photographed, I can manage without additional help.

Q. Will you travel worldwide to photograph our wedding? I am available for international commissions but travel fees will apply.
