Joseph was recommended to me by a friend who works at a newspaper and she described his style as what they look for in newspaper photos--emotional, evocative, "action" shots. When I went to his website, I saw exactly what she meant. His photos had many layers and captured not just the people but the whole scene and feeling of the moment. (Further proof of how much of an impact his photos have -- just the shots on his website made my dad cry!)
Our wedding pictures were breathtaking. Everyone who saw them commented on not only the beauty but how well they captured the event. Joseph took shots I never would have envisioned and they were stunning. He truly has an amazing eye.
On the more "practical" side -- I found Joseph to be very responsive, flexible, and easy-to-work with. He was very responsive to email, and was on time, professional, and exceeded all expectations on the day of our wedding. When our Rabbi did not want photos during the ceremony, Joseph still managed to take amazing shots without being noticed. It was also an incredibly hot day and Joseph adjusted to take more indoor photos with friends and family. We have not worked on our album yet, but I anticipate that it will be something we look at often to relive our wedding day.
